Scott Scotty Scott.

10 reasons why I  LOVE my husband!

1. I always have fresh flowers in our apartment, and I'm not the one buying them!

2. He agreed to stay in a much more expensive apartment because of how much I liked it.

3. He offers to rub my back and feet when I come home from work.

4. He eats my food.

5. He understands a lot of things that a lot of other people would probably never get.  He accepts that my life is crazy but helps me through it.

6. He lets me travel!! And, plans imaginary trips with me. ( Soon to come true.)

7. He takes me to buy European chocolate when I am missing Europe.

8. He lets me cry when I need to, and doesn't say anything about it later.

9. He loves my family just as much as I do!!

10. He gave up and sacrificed a lot to marry me.

forget it.. I'm adding a few more.

11. He dances funny with me to weird music.

12. He goes to movies with me every week, if not more, because he knows how much I love them.

13. He doesn't judge me when I need change, he just helps me make it happen.

Scott and I are about to go on a great adventure together moving to Texas. It is just a summer, but we will have to depend on each other a lot. I am so lucky to have married someone who loves me no matter what. I can be cracking very stupid jokes, crying, being moody, making scary ugly faces at him hoping he'll laugh, or grumpy coming home at 6 am from work and he is always nice and pleasant to me and makes me feel loved.

I LOVE YOU SCOTT!!! I could write so much more! But, I'm going to go pick you up from work and go on a date with you!

See you later Blog world.

A 4am music post.

Can I please just express my love for Adele? She is phenomenal. I got her new Adele 21 CD last week, and have memorized the entire thing already. I have a 32 hour road trip to thank for that.

My absolute favorite songs on this CD are:

  • Someone like you
  • Set Fire to the Rain
  • Rolling in the Deep
  • Turning Tables
The only thing is, these are all break up songs. I can't relate to most of them. It's the best when you can relate to songs! I mean, I can relate to them. Past break ups are always an option, but lets be honest, I don't think about those anymore now that I'm married. I can't wait for some 'happy, in love' songs. until then...I'm in love with her heartbreak. Hopefully she really isn't heartbroken.

And as we all know, I'm obsessed with The Beatles. I don't really know when it happened. Either listening to them growing up, or when I actually started to appreciate music. Their lyrics are always so meaningful to me for some reason. Sure, they were on drugs for a lot of them, but they came out with the songs none the less. I've been listening to Let it Be a lot lately. It is one of their more popular songs, so I'm sure pretty much everyone knows it.

When I find myself in times of trouble, mother Mary comes to me,
speaking words of wisdom, let it be.
And in my hour of darkness she is standing right in front of me,
speaking words of wisdom, let it be.

Let it be, let it be, let it be, let it be.
Whisper words of wisdom, let it be.

And when the broken hearted people living in the world agree,
there will be an answer, let it be.
For though they may be parted there is still a chance that they will see,
there will be an answer. let it be.

Let it be, let it be,

And when the night is cloudy, there is still a light, that shines on me,
shine until tomorrow, let it be.
I wake up to the sound of music, mother Mary comes to me,
speaking words of wisdom, let it be.

Let it be, let it be,

This song seriously calms me. "Let it Be" is probably a phrase all of us need to remember at one point or another... I know I do.

A funny story about them..
I was driving in my car and was in the process of trying to find something decent on the radio. I either got Lady GAG, Kesha, Bruno Gay, Ushers stupid new era of music ( I liked his old stuff) , etc etc I think you get my point. I obviously couldn't find anything, got frustrated, so I put on the Beatles. I secretly wished that The Beatles still did concerts and went on with my day. The next day I walked into my kitchen, and my mom said "Guess who is coming to concert?" I don't remember what I said back, but when she said Paul McCartney I started bawling. Yes, literally bawling. I went to the concert alone because none of my friends cared enough to spend the money on the tickets. My mom, the wonderful woman she is, bought me a floor ticket. I had the best seat ever, I didn't even care I was alone because I was literally living my dream.

Some other classics that I love are..

  • Here Comes the Sun
  • Eleanor Rigby
  • We Can Work it Out
  • Help!
  • Can't Buy Me Love
  • Blackbird
  • She's a Woman
  • She's Leaving Home
  • Twist and Shout
  • Yesterday
  • Hey Jude
Anyway. I think you all get the point. I love them, always will. I don't care how many people bash on them. Some people just don't like the old classic sound. They would rather listen to some freak covered in meat and rebirthing herself out of an egg.

Texas, here we come!

This is a VERY delayed post, but Scott and I are moving to Texas in about two weeks! We are going out there for a temp summer job. I am so so excited. Probably a little bit more excited than Scott, because my soul craves change! I love to move and see new things, so every chance I get to do it, I try to! We knew a while ago that this was an option, but we were having a hard time selling our lease. We didn't want to say for sure that we were going, but everything is set in stone now. I actually put in my 2 week notice at work. I've worked full time, 12 hour shift graveyards for over a year now, so it will definitely be a big change having a normal sleep schedule. I'm so happy. Working nights affected everything in my life. My eating, my sleep (obviously), my attitude, my energy, etc etc. Not necessarily in a good way either. ha! We are coming back in August and going straight back to school!

I'm actually working as we speak. It's 0200, so only four hours left. All of my words are started to blend together, so if things I'm writing don't make any sense, thats why! My last day is the April 14th. It is definitely bittersweet. I've loved this job more than anything, and it has opened my eyes to so many things. At the same time though, I'm ready to move on to the next chapter in my life. I will miss all of my close friends that I've made at Stonehenge. I've never had a closer bond to my co-workers anywhere else! Driving away saturday morning will be sad, but exciting.

Finally updating!

So..I never update this thing! It was partly because I seriously was never on the computer anymore. I got a kindle for valentines day, and that pretty much took up all my time. But, it was stolen...so obviously it wont be taking my time up anymore. Which brings me to how it was stolen, I went to Seattle, Washington to visit some family. My brother left for the Navy, so I went out and said goodbye to him. Someone broke into my car and stole, EVERYTHING the first night I was there. My laptop, kindle, ipod, sunglasses, lotion, coupons, trash, bills, registration etc etc...yes. Legitimately everything. I've never felt so violated. But, things happen. I really wasn't as upset about it as I thought I would be. Other than that escapade, Washington was a lot of fun. I don't have my camera, it's still in WA, so I only have the pictures I took off of my phone. So, I'll post those! Scott couldn't go because of work, so my little sister Tiffany came with me!

My brother Brett and I at his goodbye party.

   At Deception Pass
(I have a lot of pictures here on my camera..bummed I don't have it!)

Tiff and I on the bridge.

Rainforest Cafe before Brett shipped off!

I wish I had my pictures from my camera! There was a lot more on that, but I'll get it here soon. Tiff and I had a lot of fun, except the whole driving there part. It is only supposed to take 13 hours, but we got stuck in a snow storm so it added on a few more hours. We left at 2:30 pm from utah, and got to WA at 6:30 am. The way back was exactly the same, but worse. It took abotut 18 hours and we spun out and almost got into a very bad accident...the weather was bad the entire time!! This trip will definitely be remembered..
