I'm actually trying to figure out all of these blogging details. I just realized I posted a draft that I wrote a few days ago that I thought I posted in the first place. Oh well, I'll get the hang of it.
This week as been a great week! My brother Brett from Seattle is out visiting and he has stayed at my apartment the whole week. I've loved every second of it, so has Scott. We went skiing up at sundance, thanks to my dad who is the director of safety up there! He hooked us up with some tickets. I haven't gone all season, so I really enjoyed it! Turns out, no matter how many times Scott told me he was bad at snowboarding...he was really good!

Scotty Boy and I

I know the pictures are a little small. But, those are the ones that I ended up getting. Scott and I got a new camera two months ago and already can't find it. We are livid!! Brett took these pictures on his phone. I LOVE SKIING. It was the best time. Minus all of the ice.
Brett leaves Wednesday..:( We are trying to convince him to move out here.

For those who know me, I love to read. I could read all day, everyday. I read a variety of things, but last week I read Graceling and Fire.

They are about 500 pages each, and a very fast read! If you are looking for a good book to read, I highly recommend these. Kristin Cashore is such a great Author! These are her first books, and I hope she comes out with more. They are so addictive.  The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins are amazing as well. I read all three of them in about four days. I think everyone that reads them are the same way. Those are a lot more well known then Graceling and Fire, but these are just as good. I promise!

Well..considering it's 5:00 am and I'm not even working tonight, I should probably get some sleep. Hopefully I keep up with this. I want my family to be able to see what I'm up to, since I never get to see them. Good night!

First Blog..

This is all new to me! I think Scott might tease me for blogging a little bit. But, I think after a while I'll get him to enjoy reading it. I'm doing this for a few reasons, and one of them is not because I have the time to. Because believe me, I DON'T. I'm actually at work as we speak. I work at Stonehenge of Orem as a CNA, doing graveyard shifts. I work 6pm-6am three nights a week. I'll now have something fun to do if it gets slow.

A little about Scott and I..we got married November 20, 2010. We live in Herriman, Utah and absolutely love it out here. It's like a little town tucked away from everything. We both work full time, and are going to school as well as Salt Lake Community College. We are waiting to see how the navy works out for Scott, and if it doesn't we will just keep trudging our way along in school. I'm so so indecisive with what I want to go into. I started with music, and then went to nursing. I'm missing music now, and may end up doing that. After playing music for ten years, it's hard to just stop. This is the first year that I haven't been doing something with music. Two summers ago I went to Europe and toured for about a month...stopping after that wasn't exactly my plan. But, I have to work with what I've got! I have a feeling something great will happen with that whether I go into music or not. It will always be something that is a part of me.
Scott on the other hand, loves health and exercise. He runs like a mad man. I try and keep up with him...it doesn't really work out. But, I love running and working out with him because he teaches me so many things. He wants to go into something with that, if he doesn't go into the Navy. He has always dreamed about being a teacher, so he may just end up doing that!
